Woodlake’s travel management service encompasses corporate travel policy design and implementation, plus airline, hotel and car discount negotiations. After analyzing your corporate travel patterns Woodlake can create the best program to service your needs. With sufficient data and volume, Woodlake can effectively negotiate upfront airline discounts for our clients resulting in a substantial savings to your bottom line. Once we have the total air, hotel and car volume, we will create a preferred vendor group, and negotiate additional discounts that are taken at the time of ticketing. This discount not only creates a savings on the base fare of the airline ticket, but also reduces the taxes applied to the ticket. In the past, we have seen a tremendous benefit when the passenger can see the actual savings on every invoice. We work with air consolidators which can offer up to 25%-50% discounts on international travel, and we can report on this volume. Consolidation and reporting create long-term savings in a corporate travel budget.
We set up our clients, which do not have upfront discounts, with the Continental Reward One Program, so the company would receive One Pass miles, as well as the traveler when the travelers are on Continental. We would also get negotiated rates and frequent parking memberships with The Parking Spot for your travelers to give your travelers discount parking and free parking days. We have a link on our website that allows travelers to go to Continental Business Travel Manager if they wish to book online. This requires a corporate password to access the CTM. We also have the Sabre online booking product for our corporate clients. This allows us to track and report on your online travel so you do not lose the online volume. The most important part of consolidation for a corporation is the information that can be gathered. We will do monthly reports on all of your corporate travel, and review it with you to determine what actions we need to take for the next month. These reports give you information that is invaluable when doing travel budgets.
